This is simply bad ass heavy dosed pure hard rock. If this band was a strain of medicinal cannabis, Sour Diesel would be the strain. This isn’t music designed to be taken with wine and cheese. No sirs, it is crafted for bourbon and burnt corn on the cob from a fierce raging bonfire. There is nothing not to like about this band, unless you don’t care for a little dirt in your rock.

The writer was going through the old original list of groups last night. This group was added right before Front Porch Step which was posted on 04/03/2013. How and why I didn’t share Crobot around that time escapes me. Crobot is from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, where Gas Station Disco is also from. They are also signed with Wind Up Records. It’s nice to share one from Columbus’ s Hell.

The first video is a song that will not be of interest to church choirs. I enjoy the myth of Satan and when artists take on any establishment of folly, I tend to be drawn to the naturalness of breaking free from duality head on. The flow of life, energy or the unknowns seems most fluent to a natural awareness of being, which includes everything. Big minds are difficult to offend spiritually and materially from the balance of nothingness. The second video has the most views and there is a measure of truth to the title. The third is a rocking tune that the title attracted me. A bearded child, sometimes is an accurate description of this writer. :). The Soundcloud share is their latest release.

“We should treat our minds, that is, ourselves, as innocent and ingenuous children, whose guardians we are, and be careful what objects and what subjects we thrust on their attention. Read not the Times. Read the Eternities.. Knowledge does not come to us by details, but in flashes of light from heaven.” HDT
